  3. Heres a new blooper list.  I didn't write it, so if it's wrong don't

  9.  
  10. The following list is a quick guide to help you find the various bloopers,
  11. goofs, inconsistencies and screw ups found in Star Wars, The Empire
  12. Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
  13.  
  14. I'd like to thank all those who contributed to this list, especially
  15. Brandon Gillespie who originally created the Bad Guide to Star Wars.

  20. Here is a quick explanation of the format used throughout most of the
  21. FAQ:
  22.  
  23.  
  24. CRITERIA: What type of incident it is.  These are the four subsections
  25.           to the FAQ.  Criteria can be any of the following:
  26.  
  27.      Blooper:   Bloopers are where something was messed up, either by
  28.                 the actor or crew, but was still put into the film.
  29.      Mis-Cut:   A Mis-Cut is usually an error, in relation to special
  30.                 effects and editing.
  31.      Trivia:     Trivia are little known facts that deal with a certain
  32.                  aspect of the film.
  33.      Inconsistencies:  These are aspects of the films that don't stay the
  34.                        same from within each film and film to film.
  35.  
  36. FILM:  The films will be in chronological order.  Bloopers, Mis-cuts,
  37.        Trivia and Inconsistencies in Star Wars, Empire and then Jedi.
  38.  
  39. SUBJECT:  A quick sentence describing the incident
  40.  
  41. SCENE:  The scene, where you can find the incident.
  42.  
  43. EVENT:  What the incident is.
  44.  
  45. NOTES:  Comments on the incident.

  48.  ** STAR WARS BLOOPERS **

  51.           SUBJECT:        Luke yells "Carrie!
  52.           SCENE:
  53.  
  54.      This scene is right after the Death Star is destroyed, as Luke
  55.      is getting out of his X-Wing and is reunited with Han and Leia.
  56.  
  57.           EVENT:
  58.  
  59.      Leia comes running up to him just as he descends the ladder from
  60.      his X-Wing.  He calls the character, Leia, by the actor's name,
  61.      as he yells out "Carrie!"
  62.  
  63.           NOTES:
  64.  
  65.      There are still many who hear Luke yell, "Heyyyy!" instead of
  66.      "Carrie!".

  68.           SUBJECT:       C-3P0 (loose footing)
  69.           SCENE:
  70.  
  71.      On Tatooine, when Luke is cleaning R2. Just after the line, "Well, my
  72.      little friend, you've got something jammed in here real good....."

  74.           EVENT:

  76.      Right as the hologram appears, C-3P0 falls off the step he is
  77.      on.
  78.  
  79.           NOTES:

  81.      This could simply be surprise on C-3PO's behalf.

  83.           SUBJECT:       C-3P0...robot 'self pleasure'...
  84.           SCENE/EVENT:
  85.  
  86.      When Luke is trying to clean up Artoo in his home on Tatooine,
  87.      you can see Threepio behind him;  watch what he's doing with
  88.      that rag.

  90.           SUBJECT:       Storm Trooper's low clearance
  91.           SCENES:
  92.  
  93.      When Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie are inside the trash compactor,
  94.      in the Death Star.
  95.  
  96.           EVENT:
  97.  
  98.      After the compactor has started up and Luke is yelling into the
  99.      comlink.  The camera cuts to C-3PO's comlink sitting on the
  100.      table, then to the security door.  The door opens and Storm-
  101.      troopers walk in.  The trooper behind and on the right of the
  102.      lead trooper hits his head.

  104.           NOTES:

  106.      There was a bit of debate about whether this was supposed to
  107.      happen, or was an accident, however, Ed Hirsh [duke@apple.com]

  110. The scene where the stormtrooper hits his head as he enters the
  111. communications room is not in the script.  Here is the scene as it is

  118. A soft buzzer and the muted voice of Luke calling out for C-3PO can
  119. be heard on Threepio's hand comlink, which is sitting on the deserted
  120. computer console.  Artoo and Threepio are nowhere in sight.  Suddenly
  121. there is a great explosion and the door of the control tower flies
  122. across the floor.  Four armed stormtroopers enter the chamber.

  124. FIRST TROOPER:  Take over! (pointing to the dead officer)
  125.                 See to him!  Look there!
